Our Commitment to Excellence

What began as the first and only Surf and Stand up Paddleboard school in Ontario has developed

into the premier Surf and SUP school in Ontario. Years of combined industry and practical experience, along with knowledgeable, stoked instructors, make Surf Ontario the best place to learn how to SUP.

Over the years we have refined the SUP lesson to be the best experience one can get. So book below and we’ll show you everything you need to know to be a confident paddler on the flats or in the surf.

SUP (Stand Up Paddling) FAQ’s - click here

Our SUP instructors come from a surfing background (combined over 50 years of experience) and have surfed all around the world. They have Stand Up Paddle Surfed on the Great Lakes since 2008 and when they’re not enjoying the Lake waves they’re searching for perfect waves across the globe.

What does this mean for students? Students get more than just a flat water experience as they’ll learn about currents, rips and local weather conditions affecting the spots they’ll be paddling. Surf Ontario instructors bring the necessary skills to empower students with a wealth of local surf break knowledge to ensure they can paddle safely anywhere: Lake, Ocean or River.

Surf Ontario instructors push the limits; they have the skill and fitness to paddle 65 km across Lake Ontario.
